School Performance, Excellence and Effectiveness Diagnostic
Your principal or headteacher completes the assessment, consulting colleagues. Your proprietor adds a ten-minute check of their own. SPEED shows where the school is strong, where it is exposed, where your leaders see things differently, and what to do first.
About 75 minutes for one coordinator, plus ten minutes for the proprietor. Free to complete. See a sample report
Built around the realities of ordinary private schools, not only premium international ones. Educational quality, school management, parent experience, competitive strength and operational sustainability in one instrument.
Vision and priorities, the proprietor-principal relationship, decision rights, delegation, accountability, structured management reviews and follow-through.
What good teaching is defined to look like, lesson planning, assessment and feedback, pupil progress monitoring, teacher development and academic records.
Gate control, visitor register and identity verification, authorised child release, safeguarding procedures, emergency arrangements, sanitation and classroom condition.
Whether school life is stimulating beyond formal lessons. Play and recreation, clubs, assemblies, sport and creative activity, and whether children belong and enjoy being there.
Structured parent meetings, communication channels, how complaints are handled, responsiveness, parent feedback, and the real reasons parents stay, recommend or leave.
Periodic financial review, fee collection oversight, resource adequacy, administrative records and whether management understands its cost and capacity pressures. Not an audit.
Enrolment trend, enquiry follow-up, website and social presence, digital discoverability, a clear reason to choose you over the school down the road, and how referrals are tracked.
Every practice is placed on the same five-level scale, and twelve are checked separately by the proprietor.
Start the free assessment →Every developmental item is placed on the same five-level scale, so a school can see the distance between where a practice sits today and what the next level would actually require.
Little or no consistent practice. Activity is largely informal or reactive.
Some practices exist but are inconsistent, person dependent or poorly documented.
Core practice is consistently implemented and understood across the school.
Practice is measured, reviewed and deliberately improved over time.
Practice is embedded, evidence based and used strategically to improve outcomes and competitiveness.
The proprietor answers twelve key questions on their own, beside the coordinator's full assessment. Where the two disagree, the disagreement is the finding. A school can look strong on paper while the owner and the principal see two different schools.
A wide perception gap usually points to unclear systems, weak communication or uneven implementation, and it triggers a recommendation for management discussion even when the average score looks acceptable.
One code is issued per school, centrally by OmiTrain, usually within one working day. It opens the full assessment for your coordinator and a short check for the proprietor.
The coordinator, ideally the principal or headteacher, leads the team through one section a day, about 20 minutes each, so the full assessment is done in about seven school days. The proprietor, director or manager answers twelve questions on their own phone in about ten minutes.
As soon as every part is in, the school sees its overall maturity level, its single strongest dimension and its single weakest, plus whether a material perception gap was detected.
Scan the QR code shown with your result, confirm your school details, and we issue an invoice. The full report and both roadmaps follow as soon as payment is confirmed.
The assessment costs nothing and always returns something useful. The full diagnostic, the analysis behind it and the improvement roadmaps sit behind the report.
